Scavenger Hunt: students will solve riddles during a self-guided quest for more knowledge about the current Museum exhibits: Return to the Land of My Ancestors (NC History) and The Mummy Treasure of Al Faiyum (Ancient Egypt). Great for 4th grade and up (and for adults!)
Engineering & Robotics: students learn about basic engineering concepts and programming, then use their knowledge to build a structure or create or program a simple robot. 3rd grade and up.
Return to the Land of My Ancestors Rotation: students get an in-depth look at the Museum's current exhibit, Return to the Land of My Ancestors, by exploring each section, including hearth cooking, colonial clothing, fishing, archaeology, and historic children's games. Great for all ages.

Cost: $4 per student & Chaperone
Teachers and bus drivers are free.
Minimum: 10 students
Maximum: 30 students
The Museum highly recommends 1 chaperone per 6 students.

the Museum is located at 134 Court St in Historic Downtown Statesville. Because of our downtown location, parking is limited. Buses may drop off students on Court St or Meeting St or may park at the Farmers Market Parking lot (corner of Meeting and Front) and walk 1 block to the Museum.
*** Iredell Museums has an open photo release policy. If there are members of your group who may not be photographed, please notify staff upon arrival.
