Gregory Creek Homestead is the Museum's collection of 17th and 18th century cabins from Iredell and Alexander Counties. Each building was donated to the Museum and moved to the site from its original location. The buildings date from the 1790s (the Sharpe Cabin) to the 1890s (what we now call the Schoolhouse).
The grounds of Gregory Creek Homestead and the walking trails around it are open every day during daylight hours. The cabins are only open for living history programs and special events. Living history programs occur April - October, plus a Christmas program in December. For a schedule of events, please see our Events Calendar.
