About Dr. Ashley Oliphant and Beth Yarbrough
Dr. Ashley Oliphant is a retired English professor with twenty year of teaching experience in the college classroom that has included courses in freshman composition and American literature. She has authored five books, and is a recognized expert in subjects ranging from Ernest Hemingway to legendary pirates. Her latest work, Jean Lafitte Revealed, is co-authored with Beth Yarbrough. With a focus on historic structures throughout the southeast, Beth chronicles the architectural history and stories of the great houses from Texas to Virginia with fine art photography and print publishing.
